What a great stay at Keeler Cottage! Great location, very clean and beautifully renovated. All the creature comforts of home. We were able to cook Christmas dinner for family due to the fully equiped kitchen. The service was professional, friendly and personal. Great Accommodation, Outstanding Hosts, Exceptional Value for Money
We stayed at Keeler Cottage for 8 nights from early-mid November 2022. From the moment we walked in the door, we could tell that it was an outstanding property, presented with great pride and attention to detail. It is better than the photos indicate and so potential renters can have great confidence that it will meet and most likely exceed their expectations.
We really appreciated the owners’ generosity of spirit – we had stayed at a great apartment in Kangaroo Point for the 3 days before our Toowoomba stay but it provided very basic amenities in that one small packet of dish detergent, clothes detergent and the like (and pay per sachet for more). We shook our heads at this approach.
Then we were the happy beneficiaries of the admirable approach at Keeler Cottage where things that you need are just there. An exceptionally well stocked kitchen with quality appliances, multiple pots and pans, Nespresso coffee pod machine and a supply of pods, alfoil, glad wrap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, oils, salt/pepper and heaps of crockery and glassware. A clean and working Weber Q bbq with a spare gas bottle. Fantastic al fresco area out the back.
The carport was large and tall enough for my Landcruiser to fit with room to spare – and behind an automatic gate.

To top it off, there was a supply of quality muesli, weet-bix, a bottle of milk, and bread, jam and butter in the fridge for our arrival.
Megan is an exemplar host and we could not have been happier with the property. She was very quick to respond to any queries we had during our stay too.
We had a fairly busy week in Toowoomba, but we wished we had more time to just laze around the place to enjoy it and the nearby surrounds of cafes and Queens Park.
We can’t recommend Keeler Cottage and its host more highly, and would certainly book it again on any future trips to Toowoomba.

Perfect little cottage
Keeler Cottage was just perfect for a girls winter weekend break. Beautifully appointed and decorated, spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches and cosy character. The owners have clearly put a lot of heart and soul into this beautiful home, to make it somewhere special to stay for their guests. It is modernised and stylish yet retains the cottage charm – we loved seeing the book with the before & after transformation! The location was perfect, quiet but central – we strolled to Queen’s Park and the local cafes, with a short drive to other attractions. Being in a heritage area, we walked the streets checking out other gorgeous homes and loved coming back to ‘our’ sweet little cottage, putting on the fire and enjoying a glass of wine. The bedrooms being separated, each with a beautiful bathroom, gave us our own space and the beds were comfortable and warm. Loved it, and will be back. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
Just like home
Keeler cottage is a delightful property located in prime East Toowoomba location with access to everything close by. Beautifully furnished with all amenities for a very comfortable stay. Our family of 4 loved it.
Homely and luxurious
Our family of four (kids: 4yo and baby) enjoyed a family getaway staying at Keeler Cottage. The house is beautiful inside, very luxurious and yet full of homely touches. You shouldn’t need to bring anything other than your own clothes and personal items as the house (kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc) is full of everything you need. The lounges are ridiculously comfortable, and the space is well used to allow big open living. Plenty of toys for the kids (albeit outdated and some games incomplete) and the touches of eggs, bread, milk and other pantry items meant I could start feeding my kids as soon as we arrived before I got to Woolies. Megan was extremely helpful and communication was always timely. We will return on our next trip.
Absolutely perfect
The house was very clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and it felt like a home. The location was handy to everything. All the “extras” (and plenty of them) absolutely topped off a five star stay. It was lovely not having to run to the shops or cart various condiments with us for breakfast. 2 couples stayed and with 2 cars it was handy to get them both off the street.
Megan communicated promptly and was very helpful.

Located in a beautiful tree lined street, just a 2 minute stroll from Queen’s Park. Keeler Cottage is your ideal home for; rest and relaxation, family gatherings or business (10 minute walk to CBD), relocation, visiting children at boarding school (5 minute walk to Toowoomba Grammar School), medical appointments or stays at St Vincent’s hospital. The cottage has been completely renovated inside and out.
The owners of this place are foodies so have provided a fully equipped kitchen including; cook books, electric mixer, baking equipment, dishwasher, plus some pantry staples to get you going…. There are two Queen Size beds, a bunk bed and a trundle bed. All beds have new mattresses and bedding and are super comfortable.
There is an en suite bathroom to one of the QS bedrooms and another bathroom with separate bath and shower. The instant hot water system and great water pressure will ensure a fantastic shower. There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. There are three Smart TVs in the house (with Netflix – 3 different movies at the same time!), a blue tooth sound bar as well as a beautiful gas log fire. Ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning in every room will add to the comfort. Outside the garden is landscaped, with a large deck, table and chairs and BBQ.
The cottage is fully fenced with a remote control operated rear car port. Further off street parking for up to 2 more cars is available in the front yard. Park your car and walk. The cottage is close to everything! There is a port a cot and high chair at the cottage and we can recommend babysitters if you need to have a night out. There are loads of toys, games and books for all age children.

One of the oldest residential areas in Toowoomba. Dominated by small wooden cottages in tree lined streets. Just a two minute walk to the beautiful Queens Park. Walking/jogging/cycling tracks along the creeks nearby.
Getting around
You can walk to the CBD, Queens Park, cafes and restaurants within minutes.
